I personally love eating healthily as I really notice a difference in my mood and feel less sluggish and more alert. Luckily there are plenty of tasty, great affordable healthy restaurants in NYC that offer more than a boring old Iceberg lettuce salad and actually make kale taste good! Some of my favourites on this trip have been: Le Botaniste I love Le Botaniste for comforting, hearty, organic plant-based dishes. Everything is designed to nourish the body, which is why… View Post

Afternoon Tea is a fabulous British tradition but with so many restaurants, cafes and hotels offering it, sometimes at extortionate prices, it can be hard deciding which one to choose. With this in mind, I thought I’d do a roundup of some of my favourite prettiest places for a drink in London (because it doesn’t have to be all smog and Brexit-depression): Dalloway Terrace Dalloway Terrace, a newish restaurant to join… View Post

Pergola on the Roof, a summer rooftop space on top of the BBC Television Centre in White City, West London, is one of the better rooftop pop-ups that London has seen in recent years.  (Ahem, Roofnic). For a start, the rooftop space is beautiful; you can eat underneath a pergola entwined with flowers, vines and fairy lights or chill out on blue… View Post
