When we moved into our new flat last year, the bathroom was one of the hardest rooms to tackle.
The room was damp, the tiles were stained, there were exposed pipes and the bath panel was a yellow plasterboard. Not quite the relaxing bathroom we wanted it to be.
We loved the grey marble bathroom in our previous rented flat so headed to B&Q to pick up some grey marble effect tiles and recreate it. My parents were so amazing and came down to cut and apply them for us while we were at work. (Thanks again guys!) After three solid days of hard graft and grouting, the bathroom looked completely transformed.
We also replaced the old, dated heater with a heated towel rail from B&Q, swapped the plasterboard bath panel for a plastic one from Wickes and The Lighting Superstore kindly gifted us a modern bathroom ceiling light replacing the old yellow bulb that was hanging before.
