A Snowy Walk In Central Park

Christmas in New York

So last weekend New York experienced it’s first snow day of 2017!

It arrived the morning after we had been to Marc’s work Christmas party where there had been a free bar; safe to say we needed to freshen our heads and thought a snowy walk in Central Park would do just the trick.

After we made a run to Century 21 to pick up some snow boots for me (my shoe collection over here wasn’t quite up to scratch for these conditions!) and to change into my warm Uniqlo down jacket, we hopped onto the subway and made our way to the park.

It was great to see Central Park looking like a winter wonderland but safe to say it was pretty cold, so we kept the walk short! We managed to make our way to the beautiful Bow Bridge and Bethseda Fountain which I would definitely recommend as a couple of romantic spots in NYC…

Eventually we turned back and warmed ourselves up at home with some hot pudding from Wholefoods and snuggly PJs. Not a bad hangover cure!

Haha! I was like “Those first photos don’t look like Central Park…” Century 21 lines up! I was impressed by your fab heals in the snow but glad you got proper snow boots! Central Park in the snow is always magical. Bravo for braving the snow to explore!
